 | 2011 Hockey Day In Canada - Whitehorse, Yukon, CanadaThis year Whitehorse is hosting Hockey Day in Canada, a big event with national coverage. The Yukon Canada International Snow Sculpture Team has been asked to provide a snow sculpture for this event. We decided to do a face off between the Dawson Nuggets and the Ottawa Silver Seven.
The Dawson City Nuggets (also known as the Klondikes) was a hockey team from Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada that challenged the reigning champion Ottawa Hockey Club, aka "The Silver Seven," in January 1905, for the Stanley Cup.
